Persian Language and Literature (PLL) is a double-blind peer-reviewed Semiannual journal, owned, managed, and published by University of Tabriz since 1948. The journal is a scholarly platform dedicated to original research on Persian literary and linguistic traditions, with an emphasis on theoretical and critical perspectives. It covers a broad range of subjects including stylistics, semantics, literary theory, mysticism and Sufism, literary history, and comparative literature, often encouraging interdisciplinary approaches that intersect with cultural studies, fine arts, and translation studies. The journal prioritizes articles grounded in contemporary literary theories and critical analysis, aiming to deepen the understanding of Persian literary heritage, both classical and modern, across Iran and other Persian-speaking regions.

Announcement for the Publication of Short Articles
Short articles hold particular significance among researchers and scholars due to their distinctive characteristics, including brevity, straightforward and simple structure, focus on presenting results, rapid peer review, and other such features. The value of some of these findings occasionally surpasses that of longer articles published in reputable journals following the conventional structure of scientific papers. From this point forward, the Journal of Persian Language and Literature at the University of Tabriz will publish, at the end of each issue, short articles that meet the following criteria and have been approved by reviewers:
- The article presents a novel finding within the journal’s thematic areas;
- The content is concise and does not exceed nine pages in length;
- The article adheres to the journal's formatting guidelines.
